About the Project
The Humanitarian Logistics Capability (HLC) contract is a partnership between The Palladium Group and the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT). The HLC program itself supports the Australian Government's international disaster relief efforts through the provision of logistical support, disaster relief procurement, and timely technical advice.
About the role
As a short-term contractual role, the HLC is looking to recruit a Platform Developer who is highly experienced in either Oracle APEX or Microsoft Power Apps. The role will drive forward a time-sensitive project for the design, development, and implementation of a new Management Information System. This role is based in Pinkenba, Brisbane.
The primary responsibilities:
Develop a Management Information System on Oracle APEX or Microsoft Power Apps. Ensure platform meets project requirements.
Work closely with Business Analyst and HLC and DFAT stakeholders to gather and understand project-specific requirements.
Design and implement scalable solutions using Oracle APEX or Microsoft Power Apps, SQL, and PL/SQL.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly to meet project deadlines.
Collaborate with the Business Analyst and project manager to ensure project success.
Provide regular updates on project progress and raise any potential risks or roadblocks.
About You:
Proven experience building Oracle APEX or Microsoft Power Apps platforms, with a successful track record of project delivery.
In-depth knowledge of either Oracle APEX or Microsoft Power Apps, SQL, and PL/SQL development.
Experience building client-facing Dashboards that provide users with a consolidated view of operations.
Strong understanding of database design principles and optimization techniques.
Experience with version control systems and collaborative development tools.
Git / Azure DevOps / Subversion (SVN) / Oracle APEX Versioning / Microsoft Power Platform Version Control
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
Oracle APEX or Microsoft Power Apps certifications are a plus.
