The Opportunity
In this junior role, you'll play a key role in supporting our client's data analysis and reporting needs. You'll leverage your proficiency in Power BI and PowerApps to develop user-friendly reports, dashboards, and data visualizations that provide clear and actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain reports and dashboards using Power BI.
- Create data visualizations that effectively communicate complex information.
- Utilize PowerApps to build custom applications to support data collection and analysis.
- Understand and apply data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes, particularly from data warehouses.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Ensure reports are high-quality, meet user expectations, and adhere to best practices.
- Proficiency in Power BI and PowerApps, with demonstrable experience developing reports, dashboards, and data visualizations.
- Strong understanding of data ETL processes.
- Experience in implementing Power BI solutions in a business environment (preferred).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Previous experience with databases (desirable).
- Experience working in local government (desirable).
- A 6-month contract with a high chance of extension.
