Experis has been selected by our Federal Government client based in Sydney to support in the recruitment of a Platform Engineer.
Contract Duration
12-month contract with the possibility of 2 extensions and is scheduled to commence in mid to late March 2024.
Hourly Rate
The hourly rate will be determined based on the applicant's level of experience and will be taken into consideration during the shortlisting process. The client emphasizes the importance of obtaining the best value for money when shortlisting candidates.
PAYG or ABN holders are encouraged to apply holding a security clearance level of Negative Vetting 1.
Working Arrangements: Flexible working arrangements with 2 days in the Sydney offices and 3 days working from home.
Must-Haves:
- Security Clearance: Australian Citizen holding an active NV1 clearances
Technical Skills:
- Kubernetes Platform Deployment:
- Experience with Kubernetes platform deployment, ideally with Kubespray.
- Ansible Skills:
- Proficient in Ansible for automation tasks.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
- Deployment experience with IaC onto Kubernetes, preferably with Kustomize.
- Version Control:
- Strong knowledge of Git for source control.
- Operating Systems:
- Extensive experience with Linux operating systems, ideally Ubuntu
Preferred, but Not Required:
- Apache Proxy with mod_security:
- Experience with Apache Proxy and mod_security.
- Forgerock Technologies:
- Familiarity with Forgerock OpenAM, IDM, and DS.
Certifications:
- CertifiedKubernetes Administrator (CKA):
- Holding a CKA certification would be looked upon favorably.
