Playgroup Assistant Educator

As a Playgroup Educator, you will have the opportunity to lead and facilitate playgroups for young children and their caregivers, fostering a supportive and engaging environment where children can learn, explore, and grow.
Responsibilities:
-Plan and facilitate play-based activities, games, and songs that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development in young children.
-Engage caregivers in interactive play and provide support, guidance, and resources on child development and parenting.
-Create a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere where families feel valued, respected, and supported in their parenting journey.
-Foster positive relationships with children and families, building trust and rapport within the playgroup community.
-Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities that align with playgroup goals and
objectives.

Requirements:
-High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred but not required).
-Previous experience working with young children and families is a plus, but not required.
-Willingness to undergo training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in early childhood education and playgroup
facilitation.
