Marsmen is a progressive small family owned business of about 10 plumbers and 4 apprentices, that specialize in  commercial and domestic maintenance servicing mainly north but also south of the river.

We service a range of plumbing and gas work inc burst pipes, blocked drains, tap servicing, tap replacements, hot water system change overs, hot water maintenance, gas installations ect..

We are in search of someone that is a team player, love the trade, confident in their abilities of the trade, and a fast willing to learn apprentice!

Marsmen plumbing is looking for an 2nd,3rd or 4th year apprentice.

The successful apprentice will be responsible for assisting other staff and trades carrying out both install and maintenance for both commercial and residential clients. Tasks include your day to day breakdowns, like hot water replacements, toilet replacements, blockages, tap repairs, fault finding, project work, emergency reactive work or scheduled repair tasks for all general plumbing aswell as other commercial fitout type works for office building both high rise and low rise and other shopfitting type works

The position would suit someone that works well in a group/team environment, is positive, hard worker, has good common sense skills and forward thinking ability, can work on there own tasks and have good attention to detail and completes there work to a high standard.

You will be trained by various plumbers at the company in all various fields of work that we operate so would really suit someone whos keen to finish off their trade and take their skills to the next level.

Application Requirements:

We ideally want someone that has a driver license and about a 2 years of plumbing experience already so we can start you on simple plumbing tasks while onsite.

You will need to be available for the occasional weekend or night works which is paid very well and sometimes 10 hour days when on a project. 

You will report directly to the plumbing supervisor and will be expected to make your own way to the office or site in the morning.
