PM Operations Supervisor

Our client has a talented culturally diverse workforce.They are seeking an experienced PM Operations Supervisor to join their team in Bayswater.About you

To be successful you applicant must be successful with building client relationships and nurturing partnerships opportunities for improvement and efficiencies and ensure all activities are performed safely across all operations.

Displaying strong leadership skills, business intelligence and a hands-on approach.

Qualifications and Attributes

Minimum 2 years proven experience in a Transport & Logistics sector

• Strong focus on safety and compliance.
• Ability to build and maintain high level client, site and stakeholder relationships.
• Skills and experience in people leadership and the expertise to develop a positive culture and motivate a team.
• Experience managing a compliant, demanding, site and / or distribution center.
• Experience in consistently delivering results, and exceeding service and budget targets.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and SAP.About the role.This position will be Oversee and ensure the efficient and cost effective operation of the depot, meet customer expectations of pick up and movement of freight inter, intra state and local and delivery of interstate freight within the state. The role will directly report to the Site operations Manager.

The successful applicant will identify opportunities for improvement and efficiencies and ensure all activities are performed safely across operations, customer service experience with the ability to engage and liaise at multiple levels.Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment,Hands-on, can-do attitude and approach.

Role will include

• Manage and oversee the safe day-to-day operation of the site ensuring the correct processes and procedures are in place to allow the team to work safely and autonomously.
• Engage with the Site team daily to provide feedback
• Key point of Escalation for Drivers reporting injuries, hazards and conflict
• Conduct training and on- boarding for new employees.
• Develop and manage the overall fleet operation
• Oversee the timely pick-up and delivery of all products
• Drive continuous improvement through ongoing analysis of operating costs and improvement of existing systems and
• Closely monitor site times for efficiency at collection and delivery points.
• Approve leave requests for drivers and manage the team roster.
