As one of our PM Operations Supervisor’s, you will Supervise operational personnel and infrastructure during the PM shift in order to maximise the value we provide to customers, the productivity of resources employed and the strategic interests of TGE Linehaul. Your attention to detail, passion and strong communication and supervisor skills along with your understanding of how to direct labour and equipment in a cost efficient and effective way to achieve the daily work requirements.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Ensure the workplace is safe and free from hazards and all activities comply with legislation and policies
Be customer focused
Encourage staff to actively engage in the workplace by input and suggestions
Identify and report hazards, injuries and incidents
Participate in health and safety improvement activities, reviews, audits and consults
Engage in safety audits and observations
Leading and directing employees in lane of operation

About you

1+ years supervisory level experience in the transport industry
Experience using warehouse management systems
Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
Basic understanding of the Dangerous Goods Code, fatigue management requirements and vehicle mass limits
Sound operational knowledge and ability
