Overview:
We are currently working with a leading Construction / Infrastructure organisation who are seeking a dynamic and experienced PMO Manager.
The PMO Manager will play a crucial role in supporting project leadership, driving project methodology, and governance and ensuring the successful delivery of various large multi-year infrastructure projects.
This is part of a broader PMO team supporting large-scale infrastructure projects and will require to work in Regional NSW a few days a week. Travel/Accommodation or Relocation packages are available.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with project leadership to identify and prioritise project initiatives based on project needs and expected impact.
- Conduct business and data analysis to identify root causes of complex problems and opportunities for risk mitigation and program acceleration.
- Establish and maintain a robust PMO office, implementing frameworks, templates, and processes that align with best practices and withstand external audits.
- Provide project management and business support to initiative leads, assisting in the execution and delivery of acceleration opportunities.
- Develop and maintain a quantitative model to assess the impact of initiatives on project timelines and outcomes.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience leading transformation or project portfolio functions in construction / infrastructure projects
- Strong ability to manage priorities and influence decision-making across various stakeholder groups.
- Proficient in analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership abilities.
- Proven track record of leading teams of project, transformation, and change professionals effectively.
Candidates must have full Australian working rights
Candidates can be based in Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane and must be willing to travel/Relocation to Regional NSW required and covered by our client
