Join our government client as a Policy and Assurance Specialist on an initial 6-month contract with the potential for extension. You’ll be instrumental in shaping and implementing policies and compliance projects to support the Division and Department’s IT initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Contribute expertise and knowledge to support policy development
- Oversee compliance monitoring, assurance, and reporting activities
- Prepare high-quality correspondence, briefings, submissions, and reports on IT issues
- Work closely with stakeholders to develop and implement policies aligned with regulatory requirements and organisational goals
- Deliver high-quality Policy and Assurance advice to senior management
About You
- Prior experience in public policy or a related discipline
- Familiarity with IT terminology is highly desirable
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to manage workloads on time and to a high standard
- Ability to monitor client and stakeholder expectations and effectively manage stakeholder issues
