Applications are invited for the position of Political Adviser to work with the JLN State Members in the Tasmanian Parliament.
This is a key Parliamentary role providing political advice, research and analysis of legislation, reports and submissions across a range of complex and emerging local and state issues.
The successful applicant will have excellent research and writing skills with the ability to prepare and draft Parliamentary bills or amendments to legislation, submissions, letters and reports. A key requirement is strong communication skills with the ability to positively engage with a wide range of key stakeholders, including Members of Parliament and external stakeholders including business and community leaders.
