About the RoleAs the Portfolio Interface Partner (Portfolio Governance), you will provide valued Portfolio Governance for projects delivered at AusNet. The role is responsible for ensuring all projects are delivered in accordance with the established Portfolio Governance Framework through sound partnering and analysis. This role will report to the Portfolio Governance Manager and is located at Southbank, Victoria. We are a flexible and truly hybrid workplace. What you will deliverCoach and train relevant business stakeholders on governance requirements, tools and processes per the Portfolio Governance FrameworkReview governance artefacts ensuring submissions are of high quality and accuratePerform periodic project reviews and governance checks on large &/or high-risk projects to ensure reported project statuses are current, accurate and reflective of performanceFacilitate regular governance meetings with relevant stakeholders and ensure corrective actions are undertaken in a timely mannerMaintain regular oversight on the level of compliance and effectiveness of governance processes, seeking active feedback from stakeholders to ensure governance processes are fit for purposeIdentify and implement continuous improvement opportunities with regards to process documents, templates, standard forms, and training materials What we like about youIn depth understanding of program and project management principles likely gained from a combination of practical experience in delivering capital projects in complex environments (e.g. Utilities &/or Construction)Experience in the use of SAP and MS officeRelevant project management qualification (e.g. PMBOK, Prince2)Solid understanding of Portfolio Governance frameworks and track record of working with various stakeholders across all levelsUnderstanding of project accounting, forecasting, and budgeting conceptsHigh aptitude for changeContinuous improvement mindset with proven ability to identify root cause of process inefficiencies and make necessary process improvements with minimal direction Inclusion and DiversityWe are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace, one that fosters belonging, where Every idea leads to innovation, so we celebrate unique voices, refreshing perspectives and diversity in our team.
