The Portfolio Lead is a critical role within the Portfolio Planning & Delivery team and will be responsible for providing effective and consistent engagement, leadership and decision-making on design and delivery across a specific pipeline of projects, supporting the creation of a centre of excellence and ensuring the delivery of strategic outcomes.
Accountabilities:
- They are looking for someone who can manage pipeline, prioritisation and planning of projects rather than manage the actual projects themselves.
- Build out a strategic framework for the PMO team, manage governance and reporting at portfolio level
- It will be about delivery & prioritisation, program design, and sequencing of the work based on resource capacity.
- Ensuring projects are delivered to the correct governance standards
- There will be a heavy focus on program pipelining, ensuring governance and looking at the change impacts
- This is across a diverse range of projects from IT, to Risk & Compliance, to Transformation, learning, wellbeing and more.
- Someone who has come from a PMO governance background and managed large numbers of projects across a business
- Ideally from a healthcare, education or aged care but not essential
- Someone who is able to manage conflicting priorities
- This is very much a people role and having good communication, empathy and a willingness to work with the business is key
