About the Opportunity
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a talented Marketing Portfolio Lead, to join our team reporting to the GM Marketing. This role sits within the Australia & New Zealand Marketing Team who are a creative, collaborative and talented bunch of individuals, working hard while having fun and achieving goals.
You will be a valued team member, contributing significantly to continue MG’s continuous growth and brand presence in market. The Portfolio Lead position involves devising, executing, and monitoring success of a dedicated and exciting vehicle portfolio through innovative marketing campaigns that captivate audiences and effectively promote MG's wider business objectives.
Working closely with our agency partners, you will oversee creative campaign management to be showcased across MG's ATL / BTL media platforms within an allocated budget. Additionally, you'll be responsible for nurturing and optimizing the full potential of MG's branding platforms and digital investments to facilitate lead generation, customer acquisition, with sales growth at the forefront.
This role will take ownership of all aspects within your Portfolio, from planning through to execution and reporting.
About You
We are seeking someone who has fantastic brand creative, portfolio management and marketing experience. You thrive in fast-paced environment and can demonstrate speedy execution when required. You have an ability to manage projects, and to work across various tasks with teams and have clear communication and stakeholder management skills. You will also have a demonstrated ability to think analytically and to set clear priorities, with very strong organizational, problem solving, and decision-making skills required.
You will have the opportunity to showcase your creativity by collaborating with our wider teams in PR, Sponsorships, Digital, and assisting our Regional Offices. Your keen eye for detail, collaborative nature, and strong time prioritization skills will set you apart in this role.

To be considered, you will need:
- Minimum 5+ years marketing experience, preferably with New Product Launch background, Digital Marketing/Agency background or, within the Automotive Industry
- Strong attention to detail and great time management skills
- Initiative, enthusiasm, and creativity
- Growth and opportunistic mindset
- Strong Commercial Acumen
- Experience managing internal and external stakeholders.
- Product Portfolio management, including NPD launches (Major – Minor)
- Experience managing creative campaign roll outs, from implementation in the market.
- Experience in developing and managing advertising priorities for key states, territories or nationally.
- Show ability to work collaboratively with other marketing functions.
- Manage budgets and monitor of expenses.
- Strong planning and prioritization
- Experience with retail or tactical promotions.
- Degree in Business, Marketing, Communication or equivalent.
