Your new role 

Reporting to Customer Technology Partner, the Program Manager oversees Ausgrid’s Customer and Metering Portfolio. You will manage all aspects of delivery and business integration ensuring success of projects and delivery by partners, by proactively managing risk, resources and constraints. 

Your key responsibilities will include: 

  • Overseeing the scoping, design and development of the Programs within Customer and Metering Domains including developing long-term roadmaps and delivery strategies 
  • Developing, allocating, and monitoring potential delivery models to ensure appropriate delivery method for individual programs and tasks, within the overall delivery strategy 
  • Plan all aspects of the program and proactively manage internal and external stakeholders to achieve business outcomes and manage risk

This position requires a strategic thinker who can execute analytical problem solving and commercial decision-making and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders with a customer focus for service delivery.  

The successful candidate will be adept at developing and executing program support systems, policies, and procedures and have a track record of delivering results within a lean program operating environment. You will have proven prioritisation and time management skills with strong program and project management experience, delivering multiple projects in a large, complex engineering environment. 

To be considered for this role, you should possess the following skills: 

  • Tertiary qualifications at degree level in a relevant discipline  
  • At least 5-10 years' experience with complex technology program delivery, ideally Customer systems and/or utility Metering processes 
  • Exposure to the Energy sector  
  • Agile Certification – SCRUM Master or ACP  
  • 3-5 years’ experience in managing cross functional programs 
  • Advanced computer literacy in Microsoft Office and systems 
  • Demonstrated capacity to consult and negotiate effectively with a range of stakeholders 
  • Project/program management certifications
