Portfolio Manager

We are currently recruiting for a Portfolio Manager to join a highly successful family office based in Sydney CBD. Overseaing a broad investment portfolio that ranges from traditional property and VC type investments through to complex international equities, funds and Black Scholes.

With a strong investment pipeline for 2024 this is an excellent opportunity to join a close knit team where you can add real value and develop your investment experience.

Duties

• Manage the following investments/asset classes: 
  • US Listed Companies - Shares & other debt/equity instruments
    • Developing trading strategies, model scenarios
    • Liase with the CEO & broker to execute on strategies
    • Trading frequency is daily when holding active positions 
  • Treasury - AUD & USD cash balances 
    • Maximising returns through interest, bills, bonds
    • Manage FX exposure through spot trades (short term) and forward positions (long term)
    • Requires weekly analysis on returns & positions
• Preparing daily/weekly/monthly reports on the performance of active investments
• Preparing 1/5/10 year forecasts for the Investment portfolio
• Contributing to the monthly Group Forecasting (PL/BS/CF) 
• Analysing future investment opportunities and deals
