With an enrolment of 3,400 students from ECLC to Year 12, it comprises three metropolitan campuses in Melbourne, at St Kilda Road, Glen Waverley and Elsternwick, outdoor education sites at Chum Creek, Mallana and Lochend, and a Year 9 residential campus at Clunes.
The College seeks to appoint a Assistant Head of Senior School (Years 10-12) at the St Kilda Road Campus commencing from Semester 2, 2024. This Position of Responsiblity is for an inital 3-year term, with a permanant, ongoing teaching position. It is full-time (1.0 FTE), compromising of a 0.5 FTE teaching load which could also include years 7-9.
This position is responsible for both pastoral care (welfare) as well as organisational responsibilities inclusive but not limited to the following:
- Overseeing the day-to-day operations and logistics of the Senior School, including school events, assemblies and house activities
- Work closely with the Heads of House and Senior School Leadership team to set consistent implementation of policies, practices and behavioural standards
- Chair and take minutes for Senior School Pastoral Group meetings
- Develop and maintain a trusting relationship with parents, carers and students
- Play an active part in student transitions into Senior School
