  • Conducting bottom up stock, business model and business strategy analysis to provide support to the relevant asset class head
  • Providing bespoke research reports on topical issue. E.g. deep dive analysis on a particular market segment or theme
  • Assist in the development of portfolio construction tools and insight
  • Providing input into responding to ad-hoc internal and external stakeholder queries
  • Providing general market commentaries for presentation to a range of investment forums
  • Assist with the implementation of key investment decisions under the guidance of the relevant asset class head
QualificationsAbout You:Required experience, understanding or credentials including:
  • Tertiary degree
  • CFA preferred but not necessary
Required experience, understanding or credentials including:
  • Proven investment experience, ideally across sectors and regions with a primary focus on analyzing top-tier companies.
  • Natural curiosity and a passionate interest in financial markets and investment management
  • Demonstrated experience working in a long-term focused investment team
  • Experience identifying and analysing high quality businesses
  • A practical understanding of the superannuation industry
  • An appreciation for capital markets, portfolio construction requirements and constraints
  • Outcome orientated with a focus on delivering strong portfolio performance for members
  • Experience in working with the Microsoft Office suite of tools
  • Experience working with Bloomberg, Factset or other data providers
  • Demonstrated research skills
  • General knowledge & understanding of the global political, social and economic environment
  • Experience in interpreting both qualitative and quantitative data
  • Proven financial modeling skills
