Reliable employee seeking entry level Post-Harvest position. The Post-Harvest Technician is responsible for carrying out manufacturing activities of Medicinal Cannabis in a manner which complies with GMP guidelines. Successful candidates will be provided with training on how to perform these tasks. Full Time employment, based on a 38-hour work week. This role offers professional challenges utilizing interpersonal skills, good time management and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Processing Cannabis with quality and efficiency, ensuring compliance with TGA regulations, GMP standards and company policies and procedures
- Following instruction from team leaders
- Operating processing equipment such as mechanical trimmers, buckers inductions sealers, labellers etc
- Undertaking all flower processes in post-harvest for example, Drying, curing, trimming, packaging, labelling, and preparing product for sale or transfer
- Adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Work Instructions (WI)
- Assisting with different tasks to support overall company needs
- Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized work environment
- Adhering to strict personal hygiene standards
Education/Experience
- Highschool diploma required
- 1-3 years’ experience in agriculture, manufacture or production industries
- Computer competencies; Microsoft systems e.g Word, Excel, Email, Inventory systems
