With over 200 stores spanning across Australia, New Zealand and Asia, the growing retailer have created a new role within the Finance team to support analysis and reporting, to help drive key decision making across various departments.
The role:
Reporting into the Group Financial Controller, the Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for a mixture of financial and management accounting, management reporting, as well as providing accurate and detailed analysis to help drive key decision-making for the business. Other responsibilities include:
- Supporting the closing of month end
- Lead the budgeting and forecasting process with the Group Financial Controller
- Liaising with stakeholders to complete variance analysis and value add commentaries
- Cost accounting, stock reporting and stock valuation
- Statutory and tax reporting as well as managing compliance
- Driving business performance through the provision of commercial insights and the establishment of KPI’s
- Contributing to the monthly Executive reporting pack
- Other adhoc projects at store level
- CA or CPA Qualified
- 5 + years in similar role, ideally within Retail or FMCG
- High level of financial analysis skills and commercial acumen
- Strong experience working with multiple stakeholders
- Experience with large ERP systems, SQL would be an advantage
