Post Production Supervisor (Lead Role) Assembly And Commissioning Team

We are looking for a Supervisor for the Post Production side of our business and we need a key team member to jump on board and help manage and bring improvements to this part of this business. The primary objective of the Post Production Supervisor is to manage, supervise and execute the delivery of all blasting, surface treatment, Assembly and Commissioning services undertaken by the Obadare Group with a focus on achieving quality of product, on time and on budget.

What does the role involve: 

• Manage the Post Production process and ensure all products completed are in line with specified quality and delivered in full on time and on budget.
• Communicate with other departments or areas to ensure work is communicated and transferred effectively throughout the company.
• Work collaboratively with the Quality and Administration Officer to maintain the Obadare group's records systems. 
• Proactively identify potential or actual delays in production and identify strategies for rectification where possible.
• Liaise with HR and Production Scheduler to review and maintain a production schedule for individual projects onsite and in workshop.
• Actively promote safe work practices at all times and adhere to requirements for PPE as relevant. 
• Demonstrate a commitment to the continuous improvement of self and Obadare by regularly by participating in Obadares continuous improvement program and identifying areas for improvement.
• Ensure appropriate and optimal use of GreenTree ERP application.
• Monitor project hours to ensure conformance to estimate and provide updates to Operations Manager as required.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, assembly procedures and project schedules, assisting Post Production teams with technical outputs.
• Review outsourcing requirements and provide requests to Operations Manager for same when internal resources cannot meet required deadlines.
• Ensure maintenance requests are raised in a timely manner for all equipment requiring repair and are provided to the appropriate person.
• Attendance to all required meetings including but not limited to toolbox meetings, QA/QC reviews, handover meetings, all staff meetings, project reviews and operations leadership team meetings.
• Perform and oversee all duties by employees in accordance with the Obadare Group’s Integrated Management System, with a specific focus on quality, safety & environment
• Monitor workshop areas for cleanliness and levels of housekeeping, tooling/asset control (a place for everything and everything in its place).

You will be working with our most experienced tradesman and although industry experience would be desirable, this is not necessary as we have staff able to provide training for the role. Outside of your team, you will also have interaction with all the teams at Obadare including, production, machining and NDE/hydrostatic testing crews.
