Position Status: Ongoing contract of employment, with a 6-month qualifying period.The Faculty of Health Science, Community and Social Studies is seeking expressions of interest for the role of Course Coordinator in the Higher Education Nursing Programs.In this role, in consultation with the Head of School, you will be responsible for the comprehensive management of day-to-day operations, staffing, and student affairs, ensuring the smooth functioning of all aspects of the Bachelor of Nursing. This includes overseeing the daily activities of courses and managing student needs and concerns effectively. Additionally, you will take charge of the semester curriculum, content assessment, and provide support in accreditation processes, contributing to the continuous improvement of educational standards. Coordinating both casual and full-time/part-time staff schedules is crucial, along with handling administrative duties efficiently to maintain organisational efficiency. Moreover, you will actively engage in liaising and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to foster partnerships and enhance the overall educational experience.ABOUT YOU
- Extensive Higher Education background with high level interpersonal, organisational, time management, communication skills both written and verbal, interpersonal skills and relationship building, and conflict management/resolution skills.
- Team player, collaborator, and a demonstrated ability to supervise, lead and motivate a team of professional staff towards the achievement of defined organisational and educational objectives.
- Demonstrated knowledge of compliance requirements, and the development and maintenance of compliance documentation, for TEQSA, ANMAC and AHPRA | NMBA
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
- Post graduate qualifications - Master of Nursing, Education or relevant specialty area.
