The University also hosts the Sydney Mathematical Research Institute (SMRI), which attracts leading mathematical scientists from all over the world to do research with Australian collaborators.We are seeking to appoint a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Pure Mathematics and Computation. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of Professor John Voight in the School of Mathematics and Statistics and Professor Geordie Williamson at SMRI. The successful applicant will undertake research in algorithm design and development, with a particular emphasis on the Magma computational algebra system.
