ABOUT THE ROLE
This role is a Permanent DIDO position from our Worsley Alumina Refinery, which is a short drive from Collie (15 minutes), Bunbury (45 minutes) and other nearby scenic communities.
As the Power StationProduction Supervisor (Energy), you will be responsible for supervising the execution of production activities according to the schedule, standards, and performance targets for HSEC, cost and volume. While, continually upholding and promoting the South32 Leadership Accountability Model.
Other key responsibilities include, but aren't limited to:
- Adherence to the statutory obligations and responsibilities involved with being a Schedule 26 Statutory Supervisor
- Manage all aspects of shift performance and allocate planned tasks which includes safety, production, personnel and budgets as per South 32's Leadership Accountability Model
- Review and update plans and equipment history and communicate status to appropriate parties.
- Ensure that critical controls are implemented and effective. Verification activities are conducted and escalated to the Superintendent when anomalies are identified.
ABOUT YOU
You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:
- Significant experience at supervisory level with a demonstrated capability to successfully lead a team, influence others and performance manage a team.
- Ability to follow safety and operating procedures and handle unit emergencies
- Self-reliant contributor with distinctive proficiency in a production / processing area and detailed knowledge of procedures related to the operation.
- Intermediate proficiency in computer applications such as SAP, Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Qualifications for this position are:
- Currently holds an Adv Boiler & Turbine Operations HRWLs with demonstrated technical competence gained in Power Generation
- Currently holds or can work towards being a Schedule 26 Statutory Supervisor
