Sales Manager - 12V Power Product Auto Parts

Offroad Living is a family-run and owned business established in 2016, providing 12 - 48 volt power solutions for the caravan, camping, marine, 4wd, commercial and mining industries. Located in Wangara WA, you will be working alongside a supportive, experienced, and passionate team of individuals who provide great customer service, specialist 12v advice, and quality workmanship. We have our own brand ‘AllSpark’.  These are high-quality premium products including batteries, inverters, solar panels, chargers, lighting, and more, giving the customer a superb product, backed by full technical support and great warranties.

The Role:

You’ll be liaising with customers in person, online, via social media, and over the phone. Once you have grasped a full understanding of our product you will be providing customers with advice on recommended equipment and accessories, which includes batteries, solar panels, inverters, and AC & DC charging systems.  

We have an extensive online ordering portal for retail and trade customers for all thing electrical and a range of other camping products aswell.  The successful candidate will take full ownership of this. It’s a great opportunity to nurture the role into a robust part of our business. 

Duties and responsibilities (but not limited to):

• 12/24-volt equipment and accessory advice
• answering phone calls, and online queries (both via email and social media channels - there is a small after hours component to staying on top of this), and greeting customers
• expanding trade customer base across WA and Australia
• equipment and accessories sales
• manage day to day communication with customers for warranty support
• assist with the general day-to-day running of the business as required

Essential requirements:

• good working knowledge of 12/24 volt and solar systems – we will train you with the rest
• having the ability to sell and upsell products when necessary
• provide fantastic customer service
• be able to work unsupervised, adhere to deadlines, and complete work to a high standard
• have competent computer skills and the ability to grasp new software easily 
• Handling cash and operating eftpos machine for transactions.

The ideal candidate will have:

• experience with 12/24v systems
• sales and client relationship experience
• trade and tool experience
• the ability to problem solve and think outside the box
• personal camping/caravaning/4WDing experience.

You will be required to work Monday to Friday.  We run 2 x trade shows a year and you will be required to be available and work those weekends, plus have open flexibility with additional hours of work based on the current demands of the business.
