AddressDesign & Build Recruitment has partnered with a global wind turbine manufacturer & developer to find a skilled and technical Power System Engineer in Sydney. The ideal candidate should have proven experience in power system studies and grid connection modeling, along with a keen interest in technical innovation.

Key Responsibilities for the Power System Engineer:
- Work with Grid Connections manager to manage grid connection studies & grid connection modelling.
- Interpret grid interconnection studies & models in PSS/E & PSCAD
- Manage clients' modeling inquiries and troubleshoot model issues.
- Develop and maintain relationships with counterparts globally
- Provide technical support to external stakeholders
- Stay updated on industry trends and NER technical rules.
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power System Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in a similar role within an NSP, Consultancy, or similar business.
- Extensive knowledge of Power Systems, power electronics, and control principles.
- Experience with Power Systems modeling and analysis tools such as PSSE & PSCAD
- Experience with grid connection modeling.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
