As the Account Manager/Senior Account Manager, you’ll be an integral part of our team, dedicated to delivering top-tier client program development, flawless implementation, and impactful reporting. Our shared mission is to not just meet but exceed KPIs and expectations in everything we do.
Working with renowned Australian and global brands spanning technology, transport, retail, automotive, entertainment, and energy sectors, this role offers a diverse and dynamic experience. You will report to our Senior Account Director (Melb) and collaborate closely with senior leaders within Red, holding accountability for both personal and team achievements.
In this role, you’ll oversee multiple client programs and projects, collaborating with teams in Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane. Your passion for exploring fresh ideas and working within a team will drive your curiosity and creativity. Expect to encounter intriguing challenges and navigate complex environments on behalf of our clients.
A bonus would be your interest and experience in managing both proactive and reactive media, making you an even more valuable addition to our team.

About you:
You have 4-5 years of experience working in a media relations environment with strong corporate communications experience, with ideally some time spent in an agency environment. You will be seeking a new opportunity to grow and learn from a supportive team of colleagues skilled in corporate comms, public affairs, social, paid media and experiential.
You will be curious and energised by the opportunity to learn new things. You will enjoy solving problems and derive pleasure from a job well-done.
You will have strong awareness of Australia’s business and corporate landscape across diverse industries including financial services, technology, energy, not-for-profit and marketing. In terms of skills set, you will have project management skills, be able to support and develop integrated communications strategies, lead media relations and have extensive media connections, distil complex industry jargon into compelling narratives and be accountable for supporting and mentoring junior team members.
You will also have a strategic mind, identify opportunities for our clients and confidently provide sound public relations counsel. You will be excited and inspired to delve into multiple industries – continuously adapting and learning as you go. You will be a team player who approaches challenges with a positive and constructive attitude.
