Looking for a new challenge in healthcare administration? Wesley Hyperbaric is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Administrator/Practice Lead to join our small, supportive team.
You will be working with the Clinical Leader and Medical Director to help redesign our front-desk operations.
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated team player to review our front-desk operations and implement changes to improve efficiency and patient experience. This role reports to the Clinical Leader while supporting the Medical Director and is responsible for ensuring the admin team is communicating well with all team members, billing, data entry, auditing, training and bookings running efficiently, supporting the daily operation of the unit.
This is a full-time role, working a Monday to Friday Roster, working 76 hours a fortnight. There is an opportunity to work a 9-day fortnight to manage work-life needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient billings and informed financial consent.
- Review and implement practice changes to improve operations.
- Recruit/Train new front desk support team members, including ongoing training and support.
- Managing financial reporting that includes processing payroll, debtors, creditors, and bank reconciliations.
- Facilitating a warm, welcoming environment for all staff and patients.
- Help to streamline processes that improve the patient experience.
- Managing financial reporting that includes processing payroll, debtors, creditors, and bank reconciliations.
- Provide administrative support to clinical staff.
Skills & Experience:
- Advanced experience and knowledge of the private health fund, DVA, private billing & Medicare claiming process.
- Experience in working in a Hospital, Day Hospital or Specialist setting would be highly advantageous.
- Highly skilled communicator, essential.
- Highly developed customer service skills and engaging patients so they feel supported during their time with Wesley Hyperbaric.
- Advanced knowledge of O365 apps
- Knowledge of legislative requirements in a health care setting (desirable)
