Your Exciting, New Role
This position will suit a dynamic, versatile and resourceful Practice Manager, who is able to make a positive contribution toward maintaining a strong and safe organisational culture, always focussed on sound ‘best practice’.
You will operate in a variety of capacities including; management and leadership; operational; compliance with governance and organisational policies and procedures with the aim of meeting high standards in patient care; general finance including payroll and budgetary management; risk management; human resources including recruitment; business development and marketing and support to the head clinic specialist via high level executive support and office administration.
The Skills You Bring
- Diploma in Practice Management or equivalent;
- At least 2 years in a similar role;
- Understanding of medical terminology;
- Proven track record in financial management, use of accounting systems and relevant reporting;
- Experience in payroll systems and legislated employment conditions;
- Knowledge of Medicare Benefits Schedule, Private health insurance and third-party billing;
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications;
- Assurance of always acting in a highly confidential manner;
- A positive mindset, with a resilient working style;
- Very strong attention to detail and be highly organised;
- Impressive verbal and written communication skills with the ability to relate to a high standard with staff, patients and stakeholders;
- Current drivers’ licence and willingness to travel if required.
What’s In It for You
This role will commence in a part time capacity (three (3) days per week) and will transition to full time within six (6) months, allowing you the opportunity to make it your own.
