Exciting opportunity for an experienced and dedicated Practice Manager to join a reputable and patient-focused specialist Rheumatology practice located within Epworth Eastern Box Hill.
You will be joining a dynamic medical business in a contemporary environment, dedicated to providing exceptional care to their loyal and growing patient base.
We are seeking a focused, driven and experienced Practice Manager. You will need to be highly organised, confident and caring with staff and patients. You will need to have excellent communication and time management skills. Your day will consist of managing staff, driving practice growth, and upholding the practices vision and core values.
Key Responsibilities
Main responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Lead and manage patient administration, ie; appointment scheduling, patient flow, invoicing, receipting, reconciliation of banking and processing of medicare and eclipse payments. Maintain accurate patient records and ensuring confidentiality within the practice
- Day to day administration of the practice and compliance, identify and resolve operational issues as required
- Oversee the recruitment, training and development of administration staff
- Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment for all team members and Doctors
- Xero accounting software including payroll and accounts desirable but not essential
About you;
- Previous Practice Manager experience in a busy medical clinic
- Ability to work well as part of a team, but also independently; display initiative and have the ability to problem solve.
- Have confidence in computer skills, using Medical Software (Genie), Microsoft Office and Tyro.
- Demonstrates an ability to adapt and respond to issues as they arise.
- Excellent time management, organisational and leadership skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, written and communication skills
- Reliable, punctual, committed and a strong work ethic
- Current Police Check, Working with Children, First Aid Certificate
