We are looking for a capable and motivated person to join our team of exceptional people.
With a team of approximately 50 staff including GPs, allied health, nurses and admin, our management team consisting of the current Practice Manager and assistant Practice Manager is looking for a new experienced Practice Manager ready for their next challenge.
This role will offer the right person the next step in their general practice management career.
At least two years experience in a busy clinic taking on management or higher duties is essential.
The right candidate should have:
demonstrated patient-focused approach in service provision with genuine empathy and interest in their needs
excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
be always well-presented, friendly, courteous and obliging. Represent the practice in a confident and positive manner at all times
undertake all duties in a diligent manner, with honesty and integrity
maintain absolute confidentiality regarding patient and practice information
have a vigilant attitude to accuracy, being prepared to double check as necessary
ability to work cooperatively and independently
ability to prioritise and organise, with attention to detail
extensive Best Practice knowledge (essential)
proven ability to manage small business/office including human resources, planning, budgeting and reporting
basic knowledge of MS Word and Excel and windows operating systems
knowledge of Xero (or similar) and PMS software and medical equipment
CPR/Triage training and/or experience
training and/or experience in management of higher duties such as emergencies, handling complaints, Medicare and health funds, basic infection control, safe handling and disposal of medical waste, cold chain, etc
highly organised and efficient in time management
ability to work flexible hours including late nights and Saturdays.
