Our Board and Executive Leadership practice is now seeking to appoint a Practice Manager to support our growth. The Practice Manager will be based in Sydney and will provide high quality business and administrative support to the Board and Executive Leadership advisory team.

This position is expected to show a high degree of initiative, be both self-directed and collaborative, and have a strong commitment to high quality outcomes and relationships.  Working in an exciting, small team environment, this position will have an impact on all areas of the practice and be a critical in the delivery of outstanding practice outcomes.

It is important that all dealings are undertaken with consideration of the highly confidential nature of much of the information and interactions that this role is exposed to.  We are looking for someone with an open, engaging personality, ideally with previous experience as a business or Practice Manager and competence with the Microsoft suite of applications.  You will thrive engaging in collegiate, client and candidate contact and be able to problem solve and innovate as we build our global practice. 

Key competencies for the position include:

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a business manager, Practice Manager or executive assistant capacity;
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills and ability to learn and adapt to new technologies;
  • Excellent planning and organisation skills and attention to detail;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
  • An energetic, collaborative and proactive mindset; and
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role.

As the Practice Manager you will be a valued and integral part of the Gerard Daniels team in execution and partnering with colleagues and our clients.

  • Strong attention to detail and superior written and verbal communication skills;
  • Exceptional planning and organisational skills and ability to prioritise competing requirements; and
  • Proficiency with information technology data for project and data management.
