Warwick Medical Centre and Skin Clinic, located Shop 8, 639 Beach Road, Warwick, 6024, is currently seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as Practice Manager/ 2IC (Second in Charge).
Role Overview
As Practice Manager/ 2IC, you will play a pivotal role in assisting in the efficient operation and management of the Medical Centre. You will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring an exceptional patient experience. The role available would suit a candidate who is flexible as it involves various shifts.
Duties
- Assist in day-to-day operations, including staff management, administration Medicare claiming ,Billings and customer service.
- Provide leadership and guidance to staff, fostering a positive and supportive work environment.
- Ensure adherence to quality and compliance standards, including clinical protocols and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and patient care.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to optimize workflow and service delivery.
- Handle escalated patient inquiries and complaints with professionalism and empathy.
- Contribute to ongoing training and professional development initiatives for staff.
Skills & experience
- Previous general medical practice service and experience
- Ability to assist in the day to day management, direction and operation of the reception desk
- Excellent communication skills including being an escalation point for Health Professionals and patient complaints
- Proven multi-tasking, problem solving and time management skills
- Ability to assist with the management of the financial performance of the centre, Medicare Claims and Billings.
