Our client, located in Nedlands is looking for two (2) dynamic, enthusiastic and experienced Medical Secretary / Practice Manager to support two medical oncologists.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Patient and carers liaison via phone and email.
- Welcoming patients and carers into the clinic.
- Scheduling of clinic and cancer centre appointments.
- General office tasks such as filing, scanning, attending and replying to emails.
- Medicare, DVA and private health fund billings.
- Type specialists' letters with timely distribution.
- Liaising with GPs, specialists and allied health professionals.
- Arranging medical equipment and supplies.
- Maintaining a hygienic and welcoming workplace environment.
- Provision of administrative support.
- Previous experience in Medical Secretary and/or Practice Management.
- Experience working with electronic medical records and patient billings (Gentu experience highly desirable)
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
- Demonstrated excellence in customer service
- Good attention to detail
- Well organised and ability to multitask
- Show flexibility in working hours as required
