Practice Manager

We are seeking an experienced Practice Manager with a strong Medical Imaging and healthcare background, to join our brand-new Bundaberg practice, on a full-time basis, working approximately 38 hours per week, with some flexibility in hours required. In this important position, you will play a critical role in leading and managing its day-to-day operations.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3–5 years of similar experience within the medical imaging industry, as well as in leading teams. Experience using Medical Software is highly desirable, however is not essential as training will be provided. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are essential in order to engage effectively with patients and colleagues.

DUTIES

Reporting directly to the Manager, your responsibilities will include, however are not limited to:

• Be the welcome face of our practice, making each teammate feel valued
• Utilise your radiology experience to efficiently manage appointments and streamline patient and workflow
• Handle inquiries with precision, offering accurate information with a smile
• Safeguard patient confidentiality while maintaining meticulous records
• Collaborate seamlessly with our medical team to create a positive experience
• The overall management of the practice, ensuring it operates smoothly on a daily basis
• Coordinating/liaising with doctors
• Managing and supporting administration and clinic team members
• Monitoring accounts and budgets 
• Providing a high level of assistance and communication to patients
• Business Development and promotion of the practice
