About the role:
We are looking for a proactive, organised and driven individual who is keen to take ownership of our management functions. This is an incredible opportunity for someone who wishes to continue growing in their management career. The role responsibilities include:
- Facilities management: Ensuring our office is comfortable, clean and tidy for our team and clients;
- HR management: Recruitment, induction, providing support to the team for any potential concerns, supporting the Directors with HR/IR advice;
- People & Culture: Supporting the Directors in creating an incredible workplace where our team thrives;
- Policy Development: Ensuring our policies are fit-for-purpose and compliant with Fair Work legislation while also being aligned with our values and culture goals;
- Social media & marketing: Leading our social media and marketing campaigns in collaboration with key team members;
- Proposal Development: Supporting the Directors and our team in developing tenders and proposals;
- Invoicing & Debtors: Being responsible for the invoicing and debtor management;
- Financials & Insurance: Staying updated with the current financial position and insurance requirements;
- Quality Management: Being responsible for our Quality Management System and annual audits;
- Team Support: Providing support to the team for IT issues, administrative functions, and general queries;
- Operational improvements & strategic direction: Provide general operational support and support the directors in progressing strategic goals.
Role Requirements:
The successful applicant will be given training, but must have:
- Experience in an Office Manager/Practice Manager role;
- A basic understanding of HR requirements and how to create a great workplace;
- Initiative and drive for continuous improvement;
- High energy and a positive attitude;
- An ability to adapt easily to different duties.
It would be preferable that the person have:
- An understanding of accounting functions (accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, P&L and balance sheet reporting);
- An understanding of payroll functions and payroll requirements;
- Experience with Xero and Harvest.
