Practice Manager/Operations Manager

Advantage Medical Pty Ltd successfully operate 4 General Practice clinics in the Mornington Peninsula/Western Port region, providing comprehensive Medical, Dental and Allied care to our patients. We are looking for a Part time (full time will be considered) Practice Manager/Operations Manager experienced in Primary Health to manage and support the Directors, Management team and staff at our Hastings/Tooradin site.

Job Description

The Manager is responsible for providing exceptional leadership and management to the Advantage Medical team. Supporting the Company Directors, Independent Practitioners, other members of the management team, and all staff while fostering a collaborative and harmonious workplace while delivering exceptional services to our patients.

The Manager will work alongside the Directors of Advantage Medical Pty Ltd and other members of the Management team.

Key duties of the role will include:

• Business development – planning and marketing
• Maintain full accreditation to RACGP standards for the clinics and keep policy and procedure and HR/WHS documentation up to date.
• Engage and lead the team of employees at Hastings & Tooradin site.
• Ensure staffing numbers meet the requirement to support patients and health professionals.
• Foster an organisational culture that always maintains supportive behaviours in the workplace

Required Experience and Skills 

• Previous administrative experience in Health Services (Primary health desirable)
• Excellent understanding of Medicare, Insurances and Medical Software packages
• Excellent organisational and communication skills

• Demonstrated experience in managing teams and/or multiple sites in a Healthcare settings.
• Highly developed interpersonal skills, including an exceptional capacity to manage relationships with tact and diplomacy.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Outstanding organisational and time management.
• Competent in staff recruitment, training, mentoring, coaching and performance management.
