Redgum Medical Group is seeking a dedicated self-driven professional, to join our dynamic Nursing Team.
Redgum Medical Group is locally owned and has a focus on continuous improvement across our services, which includes mandatory training and education.
Our locations include, 2 in Corowa which includes our Skin Clinic, one in Rutherglen and the other one in Howlong, totaling four in all. This role is an excellent opportunity to join our expanding practice and be a part of our dynamic team, who are supportive, diverse and inclusive.
This role is a minimum of 16 hours per week, with an option of full time for the right candidate.

Job tasks and responsibilities
Some of your Duties may include, but are not limited to;
- General nursing
- Assisting in minor procedures, dressings and wound management
- Immunisations - COVID-19, Childhood, Adult & Travel Vaccines
- Maintaining cold chain and vaccine stock
- Nursing administration duties eg. Recalls
- Support role for GPs
Skills and experience
Essential
- Current AHPRA registration
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask, prioitise and work effectively in a very busy environment
- A team focused with a positive attitude
- Professional presentation
- Current and valid drivers licence
Desirable
- Prior General Practice nursing experience is advantageous but not essential
- Experience in Chronic Disease Management (CDM) with the ability to do GPMP and HA's or willing to be trained
- Immunisation skills and knowledge
- Demonstrated knowledge of the RACGP Standards for General Practice.
- Demonstrated ability to write clear, concise and informative progress notes
- Flexibility in your availability to assist in when staff are on leave
