Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Endorsed Enrolled Nurse. The Nurse will be responsible for providing direct patient care, administering medications, assisting doctors with procedures, and maintaining patient records. The Registered Nurse will also be responsible for educating patients and their families on health conditions and providing guidance on maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
Qualifications
- Current registration as an Enrolled Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Applicant needs to be Permanent residence or Australian Citizen
- Strong clinical knowledge and skills in patient care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Certificate in Immunization Course
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMRs)
- Diploma in Nursing
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and/or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is a plus
- 2+ years experience In General practice
Responsibilities:
- Conducting patient assessments and providing nursing care in accordance with established protocols and standards of care
- Administering vaccinations, medications, and other treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
- Assisting with minor surgical procedures and other clinical tasks as needed
- Performing routine screenings, health assessments, and patient education sessions
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation
- Collaborating with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other members of the healthcare team to ensure coordinated patient care
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives and adhering to regulatory requirements and best practices
