The Palmerston GP Super Clinic which incorporates the Palmerston Medicare Urgent Care Clinic, provides access to primary health care services to the Palmerston community and we are currently recruiting to our nursing team.
Key responsibilities:
- Work closely with our General Practitioners to provide high quality primary health nursing care for all patients;
- Assist in diagnostic and treatment procedures such as wound care, ECG's, Spirometry and general surgical procedures;
- Triaging of patients in our Urgent Care Clinic;
- Health care plans, results follow ups and recalls;
- Maintenance of electronic health care records;
- Vaccination services including COVID 19 Vaccinations;
- Understand the needs of clients and communicate with them clearly and concisely, ensuring understanding is provided for all cultures and beliefs.
- Provision of a quality service in an efficient, enthusiastic and responsible manner.
- Maintain confidentiality at all times.
Essential Requirements:
- Registration as a nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency;
- About Giving Vaccines Certification;
- Current CPR/ First Aid Certificate;
- Working With Children (Ochre Card) and National Police History Clearance required prior to commencement.

This is a full-time position with 152 hours to be worked across a four-week period covering a range of shifts: 8.30 am to 4.30 pm; 10 am to 6 pm; and 11 am to 7 pm.
