AddressSale Medical Centre is a busy Medical clinic in Sale, Gippsland, Victoria. We are looking for a nurse to join our growing practice. If you are interested in patient outcomes and want a change of pace from RACF/Hospital shift work or the hub-bub of a larger practice, then this is the job for you.
The position is for a Registered Nurse for approximately 38 hours per week across 2 locations (Sale/Maffra). This role is to add a fourth nurse to the Practice Nurse team.
The successful applicant must be prepared to start ASAP
The role includes:
- Preparation of consulting and procedure rooms
- Assist doctors with procedures
- Cleaning and maintenance of instruments
- Wound care, dressings, suture removal
- Care plans and assessments
- Immunisations ; Vaccinations ; Injections
Selection criteria:
- The position requires an AHPRA registered nurse, division 1
- Experience with minor surgery, assisting during surgical and non-surgical treatments
- Experience with wound care
- Excellent communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team
- Patient care of infants to the elderly
- Ability to multi-task and prioritise workload
- Ability to work independently as well as part of the team
