About the Role
At Doctors of Northcote, we have 24 doctors who consult from our facilities. We have 11 consulting rooms, 2 treatment rooms, pathology and a pharmacy onsite.
You will be someone who can work as part of a team and autonomously, takes pride in what they do, and has exceptional attention to detail.
We pride ourselves on our vibrant, fun, and friendly work environment. We enjoy spending time together as a team and hold regular social events.
We're looking for someone to assist 2 - 3 weekdays a week.
Your Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Triage
- ECG's
- Spirometry
- Ear syringing
- Immunisations
- Wound management
- Health assessments
- Chronic disease management
- Assisting doctors with minor procedures - implanon insertion/removal, IUD insertions, iron infusions, excisions, biopsies etc.
- Clinical stock management
- Infection control and prevention management
- Maintaining cold chain management systems
- Assisting with quality improvement activities
- Maintaining accreditation standards
To be considered for this role you must:
- Have 2+ years of experience in a clinical nursing role
- Be a Division 1 Registered Nurse
- Be a permanent resident or Australian citizen
