Evans Rd Medical Centre is a state of the art Centre and is looking for a part-time experienced Practice Nurse Division ! /receptionist to join the team located in Cranbourne West. The position will start at 2 days per week with the intention to develop into a full time position.
Job tasks and responsibilities
Your role as a Practice Nurse will include:
- wound care
- care plans and health assessments
- immunizations
- health education and promotion
- recall system maintenance and
- triaging patients from reception
- ECG, spirometry
- Reception duties
- Iron infusions, IV cannulation
- Assist in procedures
Skills and experience
You must have the following:
- Current APHRA registration
- Minimum 1 year experience as a Practice Nurse Division 1
- Experience with chronic disease plans and health assessments
- High energy and proactive
- Good patient empathy
- Be a team player with a can-do attitude
