Practice Nurse

Warner lakes family Practice is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Registered / Enrolled Nurse practitioner to join our team for Part time/casual. Our Practice is dedicated to providing the highest quality care to patients and their families  and we are looking for someone who shares this commitment.

Responsibilities:

• perform general nursing duties, including wound care, medication administration, and health assessments
• maintain accurate patient records, ensuring confidentiality and privacy
• participate in the development and implementation of nursing care plans and patient education programs
• collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide a coordinated and patient-centred approach to care
• ensure compliance with relevant legislation and industry standards, including infection control and occupational health and safety
• provide high quality nursing care to patients, inline with best practice guidelines and industry standard 
• assist the general practitioner with patient consultations, procedures, and treatments                                                                                                             

Desired Experience and Qualifications:                                                                

• current registration as a Registered Nurse/Enrolled Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
• minimum of 6 months experience in a primary healthcare setting
• demonstrated proficiency in clinical nursing skills, including wound care, medication administration, and health assessments
• excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centred approach
• ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• a proactive approach to learning and professional development
• Current CPR certification
