The Walton Bridge Family Medical Center operates across 2 sites: Walton Bridge Medical Centre Glen Affric Street and Walton Bridge Medical Centre Waterworks Road.
About the role
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse to join our team.Our ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a caring nature, high level communication skills and attention to detail. Part time or casual positions are available.
The Practice Nurse will:
- Be experienced in the delivery of GP Management Plans, Team Care Arrangements, Health Assessments, CVC program, ECGs, Spirometry, urine testing, diabetes cycle of care, Asthma Management Plan, Comprehensive Medical Assessments
- Participate in Quality Improvement Activities
- Provide culturally appropriate assessments, therapeutic and education services for clients with chronic disease as required
- Ensure that clients receive education on the use of therapies and treatments prescribed and feedback on the outcomes of therapy and treatment
- Adhere to relevant professional Code of Ethics guidelines
- A willingness to implement and adapt to change when required to benefit patients, staff, and the wider group
About You
- Current APHRA registration as Registered Nurse is essential, with two years experience preferred
- Demonstrated experience working in a Primary Health care setting or within General Practice
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong computer literacy
