About the Role
The purpose of this role is to provide accurate and timely administrative support to the Director of Human Resources and the Human Resources Unit, this is a key function of the role.
• Complete general administration and secretarial duties including typing, formatting, distribution of mail, photocopying, data entry and filing.
• Provide confidential and high-level support including production of high quality documents and records; collation of information for preparation of briefing notes, Ministerial and parliamentary questions; enquiry screening and electronic diary management including the timely provision of necessary records and documentation as required by the Director, Human Resources.
• Record and prepare minutes, prepare agendas for distribution, correspondence and other relevant administrative tasks for the facility's consultative forums relevant to Human Resources.
• Have the ability to exercise judgement to solve immediate problems when precedents have not been set, analyse issues, establish a course of action and adopt a pro-active attitude with minimum direction in the absence of the Director, Human Resources.
