Our family practice is seeking a Practice NurseRegistered Nurse to work on a part time position in our treatment room.

Job tasks and responsibilities include:
- Triage and assessment of patients
- Wound management
- Immunisations & Vaccinations
- Minor Procedural Assistance
- ECG's
- Spirometry
- Audiology
- Undertake ear syringing
- Cold Chain Management
- Infection Control Management
- Maintaining recall and reminder systems
- Stock ordering and management
- Chronic Disease Management
- GP Management Plans
- Health Assessments
- Work with Practice Manager and principal GP to develop and maintain a suite of practice policies and procedures
- Participate in practice risk management and quality improvement processes
Qualifications & experience
- Current Australian registration in nursing (AHPRA)
- Current Immunisation Certificates (an understanding of Vaccines and the National Immunisation Program & COVID-19 Vaccinator Certificates desirable
- Wound Care experience preferred
- Previous nursing experience, ideally in General Practice
- GP Management Plans and Health Assessments experience preferred (training available for the right candidate if required)
- Excellent communication skills
- The ability to share roles within a team setting as well as working independently and taking initiative
- Ability to prioritise your workload and confidence in working autonomously
- Experience in Best Practice desirable
