Karuna-maya Medicine is an established medical practice on the Surfcoast offering compassionate healthcare.
Due to the expansion of our nursing team we are seeking an enthusiastic, bright and dynamic person who is team-orientated, to join our friendly and supportive team in a permanent part-time capacity with the ability and flexibility to cover leave.
Essential selection criteria
- Current registration with AHPRA
- Nurse Immuniser qualifications
- Current CPR certificate
- Previous Practice Nurse experience
Skills & experience
- Excellent communication skills
- A caring and collaborative approach to patient care
- Ability to work autonomously and also collaboratively with the practice team
- Chronic disease management, patient recall and reminder systems and patient education
- Participate in the development and implementation of policies and procedures
- Immunisation experience – NIP Schedule Adult and Child
- Travel Vaccinations
- Knowledge of clinical software – Best Practice
- Treatment room – Triage of patients, Iron infusions, Minor procedures, ECG
