Redlands General Practice opened its doors in January 2020 and since then has been rapidly expanding. With 12 consulting general practitioners and 4 procedure rooms, the practice is fast paced and constantly strives to meet the needs of the Redlands community. We are looking for an exceptional registered nurse to join our team to assist with our nursing duties including care plans, health assessments, assisting in the procedure rooms, ECGs and childhood immunisations.
Qualifications & Experience
- Registered nurse registered with AHPRA
- Experience in general practice highly desirable
- Experience with Best Practice software desired but not required
- Must be able to integrate into a fast-paced team environment
- Must have a vigilant attitude with a focus on patient centred care
- Be able to accept and respond to feedback
- Must have completed COVID-19 vaccination training
Tasks & responsibilities
- Assisting GP’s with procedures
- ECG/ear syringe/dressing/general treatment room duties
- Develop and complete GP management plans and Team Care Arrangements with the assistance of the GP
- Triage patients over the phone
- Ensure all interactions are professional and courteous with a focus on patient confidentiality
