The Role
BCRG is a non profit community managed organisation which has been dedicated to working with children and families for 35 years. Chester Hill Preschool are looking for an experienced, motivated, and passionate Educator with a completed Diploma qualification to join their team. You will have the drive and passion to work in Early Childhood and value making a difference in children’s lives, partnering with families, keen to further develop your skills and want to work with a passionate, capable, and dedicated team.
Our Preschool
BCRG Chester Hill Preschool, located in the grounds of Chester Hill Public School, provides early education and care for children aged 3-5 years, Monday to Friday 8.30am - 4.00pm. The Preschool is closed during school holidays. We are a vibrant multicultural community-based preschool with up to 40 children per day.
To be considered for the role, it is essential that you have:
- previous experience working as a Diploma Educator within an Early Childhood service
- a recognised Diploma in Children's Services qualification or similar as approved by Australian Children’s Education and Quality Authority (ACECQA)
- sound understanding of the NQF, EYLF, Education and Care Services National Law (2010) and the Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011)
- professional level of written and verbal communication skills
- current knowledge of Child Protection legislation and its implications for the care and protection of children
- demonstrated computer literacy skills
- current NSW Working with Children Check
- current First Aid Certificate
- work rights to enable you to work in Australia
