AS A PRICING INSIGHT MANAGER YOU WILL…
This position is responsible for developing and maintaining the tools required to identify and report on SG's fleet risk position. The incumbent is accountable for managing financial and asset risk by conducting in-depth analysis, using predictive modelling methodologies and internal audit controls for both Australia & New Zealand. The scope of the position involves analysis and manipulation of large data sets through to the construction of advanced mathematical modelling using SAS
YOUR DAYS WILL INVOLVE…
The major responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:
- Develop and maintain a credible and sustainable framework for the management of fleet risk. This should include the development of analytical capability using SAS to other internal business functions.
- Undertaking risk assessment on the portfolio of assets and services through conducting internal audits and implement process controls to mitigate risk.
- Use predictive modelling techniques to determine residual value pricing and maintenance costs to determine price setting and identify fluctuations on service costs.
- Preparing and presenting a suite of risk management reports which provide early visibility of emerging risks and proposed mitigation strategies. Developing dashboards to communicate risk insights to stakeholders.
- Managing the sales analysis process, in collaboration with the Trade Division, to determine residual value settings (forecast) and market valuations for sale and leaseback proposals (actual)
- Undertaking profitability analysis of key contacts based on the pre-sales profitability modelling to identify opportunities for improvement
- Lead and manage a team of Asset Risk Analysts, providing coaching, mentoring, training and development.
A LITTLE BIT ABOUT YOU
Essential
- Extensive business analytics, reporting, risk management experience
- Experience in the automotive industry, utilising residual modelling & forecasting practices
- Extensive SAS modelling experience, or other modelling software
- Experience with SQL and VBA programming, as well as other software such as SAS Visual Analytics, Power BI, Tableau, Python and other BI Tools
- High level of proficiency in software packages with advanced level of Microsoft Excel & Visual Basic
- Proven experience leading and engaging team in delivery of high-performance outcomes and leading change management initiatives in a corporate business environment
Desirable
- A technical understanding of motor vehicles and available options
- Experience managing and delivering statistical software implementations.
- Strong technical/numerical skills, shares knowledge and is thorough and accurate
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills - meets specified deadlines and reports on progress
- Effective communicator both verbally and in writing
- Strong problem-solving skills, through to resolution for customer in a timely and effective manner
